"The Doll" was written by Mythangelo Corp. President Ari early on 2004. While he does not consider himself a poet, relinquishing the title to his mother Nelli, he has been known to write poetry regularly, mostly of either humorous or strongly emotional nature. "The Doll" falls on the latter category and it narrates a tale of broken innocence from a peculiar perspective. May its lesson not be lost on those who read it. Ureed N. Ezing |

But her doll was by her, as her happiness faded, And she was in her arms, on that night he came home. And she pushed and he pushed and his strength overcame, Now she sits on the grass, and she leans on a stone. Copyright © 2004 Ari Salgueiro |
