A Short Poem

Black Santa is dead.
He lies silently against the wall.
Oh! Sight of his flattened limbs,
haunting wails like a broken doll.
He died alone. I know not whence
he met his doom.
Now I search, desperate for a culprit
Guilty faces in the room.
Welcome! It’s been roughly five years since the last time I worked on this blog so the first thing you need to know is that right now all the posts are from around 2009 or prior to that. You might need to know that considering that some of the posts might be related to dated stuff that is probably irrelevant now. Which is not to say any of my posts could ever be considered relevant in an even remotely significant way.
Well I don’t usually post anything on Sundays but something happened last night worthy of mention. I was on my way home after buying a pizza and some cheesy bread for the family when this guy just came out of nowhere and crossed the highway right in front of me. I mean, I came literally inches from running him over. It was dark, he was dressed in dark clothes and the fool was crossing illegally cause we were nowhere near an intersection. If I hadn’t swerved to the left I would have definitely hit him.
